Ah, after a long fall full of color, raging rain, grey granite, and entertaining folks, it is time to switch gears. The spectacle of back oak trunks like charcoal against the wavering glow of the yellow leaves felt too garish and so I had to get on the road. I finished up this Yosemite season with another lap on the best climb ever: the Rostrom, flowed by a trip down the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne. Our intent was to fill the deep gorge with laughter, play in the rain and slip on the slabs. It was awesome, and now I am reinvigorated to make jewelry and go sport climbing at Smit Rock.
November and December generally consists of tons of family time, running (to train for Patagonia), sport climbing (indoor or outdoor) and most importantly acting like a squirrel collecting lots of acorns (cash) to sustain my next years adventures…. This is where all my creative energies pour out in to little Suspended Stone Designs which are great gifts for yourself, friends and family. SO help me adventure, help me climb Fitz Roy, by adorning your loved ones this holiday season with tangible, elegant, simple, grounding, pieces of wearable art.
