The last three weeks have been proper ‘patagonian’ weather. Could have been worse, mostly windy, and just a little rain, Noah didn’t have to come and build an Ark or anything … Here are some photos of how I have kept from going crazy…
Lucky for us the bouldering, sport climbing and friends here in El Chalten make this place wonderful even if the mountains are impossible to access. We had a great night dancing till the break of dawn to the local band Siete Venas, and not we are closely watching an approaching weather system… the forecast has been a bit spastic, but there is hope to as least try to climb something later this week!

Nice paintings! Sheesh it was so windy when we went to Ventura last week. Blowing Patagonia (Argentina) style. No joke. Howling wind on the day before Valentines day. Made another stealth trip into GPIW.
shoulda mentioned. Bought new fly fishing jacket at GPIW. The “River Salt”. It should be as close to bombproof as any jacket ever built. New pair of Rio Gallegos too, I’m set for 2012. See you in March. Dad
Down there that’s absolutely normal. Very very nice paintings! Ciao
